Great! My daughter and son have both attended this academy and my husband and I have personally never had problem with the the staff or curriculum. Every business has its problems. I have a cleaning service and my God! If I have an issue, I can call the Academy and they address the issue. They even went out of their way to pick son up when his school was off their normal route. I HIGHLY recommend this center. Both of our children attend and loves their teacher and staff. The reason I chose Destiny Starr to begin with was the fact that they had cameras in the classrooms and could see what was going on at all times, and that the front door was locked so that not just anyone could come in. I liked it at first, but after awhile I started getting bad reports about my son biting, hitting and other things that was not normal for him. Then I started getting phone calls that I was behind on payments, when I knew I wasn't. Their bookkeeping is horrible and they can't keep up with payments, even after I showed them my bank statements. I ended up enrolling him somewhere else after a year at this place and he is thriving and doing excellent. I haven't gotten one bad report of him biting or hitting anyone. Now Destiny Starr is refusing to give me their information to file my taxes and claim child care expenses because they are saying I still owe them money, when I'm sure I don't. The owner is doing everything in her power to keep this information from me until I pay her what she thinks I still owe. This is against the law and I will be taking the next legal step against this daycare. All of my concerns are addressed immediately and management is always professional. The teachers really care about the health and safety of my children. We did not have any issues until he was old enough to eat the food that the school provided. I was raised eating fresh vegetables and whole wheat and I intend to raise my son the same way. The food provided by the day care is not up to my standard and they say that soon they will not allow me to send his lunch with him. The other issue that has just arisen is that the two teachers that were in the infants room have left and they seem to have been replaced by less experienced (much younger) teachers.
