The place has a very high turnover rate. The poorly paid yound girls only work there for temp, so they do not show much care about the children.
They put kids outside in the early morning and late afternoon, only following the rule if temprature is between 30-90. They don’t care about individual kid’s physical situation or abnormal weather which may cause most kids are not dressed properly. Without exercise some common sense consideration, they will throw the kids out. Some kids got sick after such irresponsible activities.

this center is …a great learning enviorment filled with very loving teachers and caregivers. It is obvious each child is looked at as an individual and that child’s individual needs are met to the best of the center’s abilities.

this center is … the teachers are great but the place is managed poorly. Poor to no communication with parents and the directors. There is a core group of teachers that are great, dedicated and love children. The building is old, the owners are slowly improving things, but the bathrooms are disgusting and they aren’t in the child’s classroom so sometimes children will be in the bathroom by themselves because the staff is shorthanded. If my daughter and I love her current teacher, but I’m looking for a new school for her come January when she has to change classrooms.

this center is …one of those places that is run more like a business and less like a learning center. No clear learning curriculum or philosophy. Our daughter loves her core teachers but they are constantly being called away to other class rooms leaving us with unfamiliar faces and uncomfortable drop-offs. The place has a strange smell and being temporarily shut down for sewer repairs. The administrator is not the owner and the owners don’t seem to have a vested interest in the children. The staff are young and there seems to be turnover. With class rooms in the basement there is little daylight and the rooms are cramped. I would not recommend Annies.

Annie’s Daycare should be avoided by educated parents who want the best for their kids and are concerned about their development and well being. If you are looking for a baby sitting service, it is adequate.
We had 2 kids there for about 2 years before pulling them out. The environment seems safe enough, we have no complaints about the physical treatement. However, our 4 year old son was basically ignored and marginalized. His teacher decided that he was too shy (in their class, not anywhere else) and gave up on him. He tested near the top of his age group in intelligence and ability, but his teacher did not take the time to get to know him at all.
The more disturbing thing is the combative and hostile treatment we received from the management. The manager “Annie” behaved in an unprofessional, hostile, confrontational way. I was shocked at the treatement we received. As a highly educated professional, I couldn’t believe people who work in childcare could behave in such a difficult and seemingly “anti-customer” way. Do not expect to have a reasonable, rational discussion with these people.
