A Day Care that Cares
By Jill R.
Rainbow Academy Child Care Ctr
The Directors and teachers at this school are the best you are going to find anywhere. They put their hearts and soul into each and every child.
Before enrolling my daughter I visited every school I could in the area and none could compare to this facility.
Anyone who feels differently hasn’t taken the time to get to know the teachers and spend the time in school needed as a parent. Day care is not a drop and go facility parents need to become involved if you don’t you are cheating yourself and your child.
If you want to prepare your children for the future with a strong foundation for learning then look no more.
My daughter has been attending this facility since she was 13 weeks old she in now 25 months old and you can not compare her learning progress to a child in another day care program, she surpasses them!

I am a new mother, my daughter, Sarah, is 3 months old. I recently enrolled Sarah in Rainbow Academy in Whippany, New Jersey, and could not be happier. It being difficult to return to work after having a baby, the staff made it an easier transition than I had anticipated. I am comfortable knowing that my baby is in good hands at Rainbow Academy and that she is receiving the care second best to mommy. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in the area, as Sarah comes home every day happy and smiling.

We recently enrolled our son (who is 2.5 years old) and are very happy with the school! My son was previously enrolled in one of those nationwide corporate chains that had teachers leaving every month because of horrible management!
It is been so different coming here to Rainbow..
First, the teachers are accredited professionals who are truley committed to your child’s development. The staff here has impressed us the most since they are so professional and knowledgable – they work very hard on the daily communications with the parents. Second, the facility is bright, cheerful and very organized. Also, I really love the internet view – it is nice to sneak a peek at my son during my busy days at work. In addition, the management is committed to promoting strong relationships between parents and teachers.
I highly recommend Rainbow to anyone in the area!

this center is …absolutely fantastic. my son has been there since he was 8 months old. he’s now in the pre-k & will enter kindergarten next september. so he’s been there awhile. we certainly looked into other centers, but couldn’t be happier with our choice of Rainbow in Whippany. the staff is amazing and the teachers are there because they love their job. academically, my son is way ahead of children we know in kindergarten (with his colors, numbers, letters etc…) i’m very pleased to say my son has only been in 1 day care and that’s because of how delighted my husband & i are with Rainbow in Whippany. my son runs into his class every morning because he’s so excited to see his teacher. and at night he tells me i’m too early, he’s not ready to leave yet. it’s a great feeling to know how well taken care of he is.

This is not slander but the truth, how can you only publish the positive…I have had a couple kids enrolled at Whippany…the director Dianne Grossman is a very nasty person who treats her staff horrifically. It shows up in their care for the kids at the school (not all, but alot of teachers are bitter) …not there fault, but she is an evil person and treats her workers like trash. This director should be no where near our communities children, with her unprofessional demeanor and vulgar mouth. Get your kids out of this school before its too late!!

Its funny to read this last review, I’ve recently heard stories about stuff going on at that school from other parents. My son is now in Kind in the public school system and I realize he learned nothing at that school. Ms. Dianne spoke so highly of it when she took us around and was always so nice to us…but I think we got shamed. I feel so bad for those poor teachers

My daughter is currently enrolled. We chose this facility after visiting practically EVERY center in the area. This is not the most expensive center nor does it come with a particularly fancy reputation (I didn’t necessarily need the rep but I was willing to pay more if I thought I’d be getting better quality.) This school does come with secure, online video monitoring, nice outdoor play area, large indoor gym area for cold/inclement weather days and teachers and director who truly care about the students and parent-teacher relationship. My daughter is thriving and really loves going to school each day. Her teachers have taken real initiative to expand the curriculum to keep the class engaged and challenged . They’ve also recently expanded the sign language and music programs. The staff is quite receptive to constructive criticism from parents, eg I requested additional structured learning activities late in the day, they happily implemented. The teachers are very patient with students special needs – my fussy toddler’s eating habits have received special attention from teachers. We are truly happy with the program.
(BTW, Diane is no longer the director – the new director, Nancy, is pretty fabulous and is a very different personality type than Diane. Personally, I never had a problem with Diane but Nancy is much more down-to-earth and some people who didn’t care for Diane may appreciate Nancy’s approach.)
