this center is …amazing!! Our daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and she will now be three. The staff is completely endearing and professional. We feel that outside from our immediate family our daughter is in the safest hands possible. Everyone at the center is extremely reliable, understanding and accomodating. Our daughter is excited to go and has loved every single one of her teachers since she was a baby. The staff provides wonderful activities for the children and our daughter feels loved by them.
The center has great hours of operation and even offers special extended hours at times in the evening and a few days to prepare for the holiday season. I have not seen a center that offers such great services to parents (and trust me…I examined many centers closely).
I completely recommend this center to any parent that wishes to have a peace of mind and have a place that is safe, nurturing, creative and reliable.

this center is …outstanding. I have two children in the program, my 5 year old son is attending full day Kindergarten there and has been with Rainbow Academy since 5 months of age, my almost 3 year old daughter has also been there since 5 months of age. From my first tour 5 years ago, I have felt nothing but a trusting and caring relationship from the entire staff at Rainbow Academy. Any concern that I ever presented was addressed immediately, not that there were many to address. my children love to go to “school” every day. They feel at home there, which is extremely important to me as a mother and as a child and family therapist. My children are excelling in their developmental milestones thanks to the curriculum followed at Rainbow, paired with caring and loving staff that nurture the creativity and curiosity of the children enrolled. On that note, I highly recommend this center.

I had to read the two existing posts first…and I completely agree with all the great comments! We brought our 3-month-old son to Rainbow Academy Cranford after a great tour and on the referral of a co-worker. All our expectations have been met–and exceeded. Our son is now almost 16 months and thriving. He has been considerably active for most of his attendance, and the staff is up to the challenge! They have moved him to more advanced rooms when they felt he would not be challenged staying in his current room. The staff is caring, professional and has been able to accommodate all our concerns, including health issues.
Our son is outgoing and sociable everywhere he goes, and we credit so much of this good foundation to Rainbow. Structured activities that he has been involved in have included music, coloring and crafts, sign language, learning to self-feed and playtime on the safe, secure ground outside. Daily reports inform about his activities, needs, requested items and accomplishments. We don’t hire sitters often but have felt very secure with the two staffers who have watched our son. The center itself is offering extended holiday hours, for which we are so grateful.
Did I mention that our son is a tornado at times? It seems that most of the staff, including teachers of the older children, know him by name and are so welcoming. Teachers and administrators are very accessible, have followed through on every request and make every effort to involve parents.
As a parent you face an endless list of questions, but rest assured the question “Is Rainbow Academy the best daycare choice for my child?” is a resounding yes!
