Ultra-expensive; they even charge a processing fee $25/- if you pay by cheque. cost about $950 per month for an infant. This is in addition to a $75 registration fee. Two infant rooms; old playthings; 8 kids in each room; Most days you have one teacher caring for 5-7 kids (normal ratio is 1:4); My child got terribly sick within the first two days of admission. I withdrew from the place. Read their contract carefully and don’t set-up an autopay with them. They require a two-weeks notice and will charge you for it even if you don’t make use of their services during that period. You don’t get the service for the money. Not worth it!!!

My daughter has been here for 11/2 years and I our experience has run the whole spectrum from good to bad.
The infant rooms have been the most problematic, and are always at maximum capacity, with smaller rooms and high staff turnover. The toys are old and often broken in th infant rooms, and the babies were shifted about to maintain 4:1 ratios a bit much for my comfort level.
The toddler and older classes are much better. My daughter is doing very well, and we are pleased with the teachers and classroom.
The cost is $925/mo for infant-2years for University of Utah employees, and higher for general public. This is on the higher end of rates for the city, and there likely other quality programs for less. The management does make an effort to communicate with parents, and in general appears to be welcoming of concerns or questions.
In general we are pleased with the center. My biggest concern is the infant care – not in any way neglectful, but needs to have less staff turnover and crowding.

I have two daughters that attend this daycare (3 and 5 years old). We have been attending for one year. Overall I am very pleased with this child care. Within a couple of weeks my 2 year old, at the time, was potty trained and socializing well with the other children. Also my 4 year old was spelling/ writing her first name and learning do the same with her last name.
The curriculum is very scheduled and organized, with lesson plans and weekly themes (i.e. weather, animals, careers, etc.). The children participate in circle time, show and tell, out door play, songs, and even special guests like puppet shows. At least once a year the teachers sit down with parents and go over all the projects the children do, as well as how your child is in comparison to the age. When we did this the teachers came out with 2″ binders overflowing with activities, drawings, and practice spelling from my girls.
If you have a crazy schedule like mine they facility serves breakfast, lunch and several snacks throughout the day. They also have parties for Halloween, thanksgiving, etc.
I have only had experience with the older classes, so I base my judgment on the classes my girls have attended and not the infant classes. We love this daycare.

This center released my child to a person who had no authorization to pick him up from school. They called me to ask permission if the person could pick him up because their name was not on the list of safe people, nor had any association or prior meetings with the school. After saying “NO” and that I had no idea why that specific person would even be there, they said “ok”, hung up with me, and then released my child, who then went missing for 24 hours, followed by police dealings, and a very confused, emotionally upset child by the time it all ended. This was very traumatic for my child, and my family, and yet the staff treated it like it was no big deal. Their excuse was that the person “had a good story”, when picking up my child.

My kid attended this day care from infant to toddler classroom. We are totally not pleased with this day care. Always they change teachers to maintain 1:4 ratio and it is not comfortable with kids below 2 years. And they totally ignore when they cry or hungry. Also they do not care about meal time. My kid went all the way from 90th percentile to off the charts. And my kid is always sick in that day care, almost twice a month. Please do not consider this day care if you love your kids. And do not think paying more money will lead to good care. We had very horrible experience with this day care. The day care looks nice but not good experience as a parent.
