ASHFOR ACADEMY, CHARLOTTE, NC
My first impression was that from the out side looked like a good school. But it was the opposite.
Too many children and to little staff, it must be against the state to have so many kids and so little teachers.
One of the teachers actually curses at the kids. Mrs. Karen, who is my daughters teacher never has a smile. You can greet her with a smile and she will never return the smile. A women with that attitude, makes me wonder how are the children treated? she is there about 11 hours a day everyday. I wonder… is so many hours allowed for a teacher to work? her stress can go towards the kids.
My daughter got scratches on her face and the teacher was unaware of what had happend… is’nt she there to be watching our children. She interrogated my daughter to find out what had happened I can investigate my daughter, but the teacher should not have too.. she was there she should be watching these children its what they get paid for. My daughter has learned nothing in her class. My daughter is a very bright girl and has learned nothing new in Ashford Academy.
I will be taking her out of that school I am very unsatisfied with the treatment and teaching’s and I am concerend about my daughters safety.

I am very unsatisfied
March 20 2008
A wonderful place for a child. I have had my toddler at this facility for the past 3 months and I could not be happier with the results. The staff is highly experienced with great enthusiasm, the children enjoy themselves and want to be there while they learn. I was overwhelmed by the compassion and attention each child gets, it is like the staff considers each child as one of their own. I soon found out that this school is operated by a family that has been in the business for 40 years and has a strong reputaton in the community, it shows in the way the school is managed, very professional operation. I have not even touched on the positive changes in my child since his time at Ashford but that would take another 3 paragraphes. Simply this is a great school for kids, I LOVE IT.
