I strongly suggest reading the Gold section of the schools handbook before enrolling. It spells out all the demands of the school more clearly. Unfortunately, it is only after you enroll that parents share how onerous the school demands are. For example, you are only allowed two absences a year or you are at risk of ‘non-compliance’. This is pre-school right? Someone from another class had a horrible miscarriage that left them devastated. The needed time to mourn the loss of their baby. However, to keep their child enrolled in the school they were required to sit in front of the board to plead their case to be allowed to miss a few extra days. Sadly, this school is run by parents on the board who seem to have never had positions of power in their previous life’s and so take advantage of poor parents vulnerabilities by threatening to expel their children if they don’t meet all the demands. This however does not translate into a model student body. There are rumors of children graduating LGPNS and going on to kindergarten still exhibiting poor social skills such as biting. They allow the most aggressive and unruly children and there is no punitive actions for children that act out. While it is a beautiful school in a nice setting - it doesn’t offer the charm that it appears to on the surface.
