The director cares nothing for your children, only the number of bodies in the center. is systematically firing anyone who is any race other than her own. She threatens the parents with her remarks of “never go over my head” I will have the last say. Her posture of threats is nothing short of pure tyranny. her remarks of people of color are “those people” or those kinds of people…she is truly a product of the early 40′s with her prejudice….I was glad to get my children out of the center. The teachers Kindercare employees meet the MINIMIUM standards allowed by the state….unfortunately these teachers are teaching your children at a time when they learn the most, or so it would seem. The teachers in this center can barely read themselves, let alone write a simple daily report. God forbid you ask for a progress report on your own child or to meet with the director and your child, the teacher will refuse saying the center does not allow it and the director will fight you to the end if you pursue her for some progress, she will never allow it…she does not care about your concerns, but if your weekly check is a day late, you will find a “friendly reminder” in your child’s cubby…that they would like the $645 a week it takes for their babysitting services….I say babysitting because they don’t teach anything they don’t even care to assist in the potty training skills needed for a 2-3 year old child…..I was blessed to find a nanny who can provide one on one time with each of my children and they are learning as such a quick pace, I pay less per week and get 10 times the service and results…I actually get feedback about my child…how refreshing

I agree with you for the most part .It seems like all KLC are all the same! I was a teacher at a KLC center in Minnesota for over 2 years and I loved the kids but The director was a different story!!!! Every kindercare has bad managers! They lie and sit on there ass all day in the office and just talk crap about all there staff. all they care about is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ they were not in it for the kids at all!!! sad but TRUE! I had to get out of there and fast I know nanny for a loving family and make twice as much as I made there! Its not worth your money to send them to KLC either trust me! PLUS I have a AS degree and they pay you like 50 cents more then a teacher that does not have a degree!!! come on now!!!!!!!

I have to disagree with you all. Not all KinderCare’s are bad. You may have had a bad experience at the ones that you are at, but not everyone is like you and has a “bad experience”. I am currently employeed with KinderCare and I LOVE my job. I have wonderful staff that I manage and a wonderful boss. Its been the best job that I have ever had. I have families that have been with us for years. We have formed amazing bonds with these parents and we love their children as if they were our own.Again, sorry that your experience was bad, but everyone Kindercare is NOT the same.
