Parent Review
My children have been attending the Washington Nursery School for two years now and I am extremely satisfied with their establishment. The classrooms are visually stimulating with many educational posters, bright colors, and play stations. The bathrooms are either located in or next to the classrooms and are always clean.Washington Nursery School also has an excellent, caring, dedicated professional teching staff. I could not be happier with my children’s first educational experience.
Parent Review
5 Star Learning Center! Children are involved!! Certified and friendly teachers, beautiful clean building, wonderful management. My child loves going to school every day. A must see!!!!!
The First Presbyterian weekday Nursery School is a wonderful, clean, nurturing preschool. My almost 3 year old son started nursery school here this past fall, and he absolutely loves it and his teachers. They have small classes–there are only 6 children in my son’s class–and they really provide a caring, nurturing, yet stimulating and fun environment for the kids. They also have a music and movement teacher and encourage parent involvement. We are extremely happy with this school and will continue to send our son here and plan to enroll our daughter as soon as she is old enough. I can’t say enough good things about this school.

Overall everything is good, nice atmosphere and teachers. My son has been going there for a few months and he seems very happy there. It has a nice location on a quiet street.
Teachers are friendly.
The most shocking thing about this center is that parents are not asked to fill out extensive paperwork nor are medicals up to date. Teachers are not screened for backgrounds and the environment clearly is disheveled full or poor supplies and overcrowded. It is hard to believe that this daycare is in a suburb as it has the look of an inner city program. I was able to walk into the center without being stopped and when I was given a tour by the Director I noted that teachers were in conversation with each other and not engaged with the children in the infant room, I could not see leaving my three month old in this environment when the teachers in this infant room did not even smile at me. Also, it was interesting to me that when asked about where a child was the teachers looked around the room as if they did not know! The preschool teacher seemed active and engaged with the children but she was extremely busy being 1 teacher to 20 students! I would not recommend this to anyone!
Overall if you are looking for a babysitting service this is the place for you.
The center houses 52 children and tries to keep within a 9:1 ratio.
The center itself is lovely with wide open windows and a lot of natural light. The staff is warm friendly and inviting. The down side is that their seems to be a lack of material and structure for the children for such a LARGE amount of children in one space their needs to be more of a set schedule for them.
